LeafSide put an end to searching for something quick to eat while traveling or just running out of time to cook on a normal day. Any packet can be extended with the recipes they offer or just by doing your own thing. A pouch is two servings for me (without additions), making this so economical! And they taste amazing! I don’t like super spicy food, but nothing is overkill here. Very happy with the subscription and the fact that you can change up the order whenever you want.

I have found the portions on some of them to be huge—enough for at least two meals. I like them especially when I’m on the road since every truck stop has hot water. For freeze-dried food, it’s both healthy and nutritious, and not bad tasting. Most I found to be really good. I kept the leftovers in my freezer here and just used them up when I was looking for an easy meal.

I made my first one yesterday, the Sweet Potato Dal Soup. I put half of it over some baked sweet potato. It was very good, and I'm so glad it wasn't heavy on salt. One-half is plenty for one meal. I can see adding other fresh vegetables to it, but I was at work. I want to use these for camping, day trips, and for days at work when I haven't cooked.

I just tried my first meal...I am very impressed with how fresh the ingredients tasted. I had received an email from Leafside showing how to serve it, so I even gave that a try. I only ate about 1/3 of the pack, very satisfying. The picture doesn't do the Madras Curry justice.

I easily get two meals out of one packet for myself and my husband. We have large appetites! We exclusively traveled with these meals for 2 months. I also brought a rice cooker and put LeafSide meals over rice with some shredded cabbage on the side. They are a healthy way to eat, and you can feel good about eating healthy anytime you are not preparing a meal. They saved us from eating unhealthy on the road. They are yummy! 😋
